Good day from all of us here at the DSQRA!!!

Round 4 of our series is this weekend at the Denham Creek MX facility near New Augusta, MS. We will hold practice on Saturday from 9:00a ?till 3:00p at which time we will close the track to be worked for Sunday?s race. You will also be able to pre-register on Saturday.

The gates will open Sunday morning at 6:00a with registration beginning at 6:30a and lasting until 8:00a. At 8:00a we will have a quick riders meeting and start practice at 8:30a. Practice will last around an hour or so and racing will follow after a very short intermission. Should be a great time with some exciting racing and we look forward to seeing everyone again after what has seemed to be a long break!!!

If you are coming from a distance and are thinking of staying in a hotel on Satruday night, you can call the Inn on the Hill at 1-601-599-2001 and identify yourself as a member of the Deep South Quad Racing Association (DSQRA) in town for the race this weekend and you will receive a discounted room rate. They are located approximately 15 minutes west of the facility at 6595 Hwy 49 North in Hattiesburg and have a pool for the kids in us??.uhhhmmm, I mean our kids with us, .

Weather forecast for the weekend (currently) has ?Scattered Thunderstorms possible? for both Saturday and Sunday and 92 degrees w/ high humidity. Should be nice and hot. Please be sure and drink the fluids to hydrate yourself (and/or your racer) to eliminate any heat conditions!!!!

If you run one of the larger classes (Open C and Open B and any others), you can expect to run heat races to qualify for the main as Denham Creek only has a 10 quad gate. Given the narrow, right-handed start, it will be exciting enough for the holeshot!! Holeshot awards will again be given out for both moto?s. First moto holeshot award winners will receive the certificate from SixSixOne (www.sixsixone.com) for 40% off of your order. Second moto holeshot award winners will receive the certificate from SixSixOne and also a $10 certificate/award from Hetrick Racing (www.Hetrickracing.com).

Parking will be tight at this facility as there is just not a whole lot of it. I ask that you please keep that in mind and think of others when you pull into the facility.

Practice Order for Sunday morning (10 mins each):
Sport/ Women?s
50 Limited / 90 Limited
Open B / Over 30+
90 Mini-Prod / 90 Super Mini-Prod
Open C
Open A / Pro-Am

Directions to Denham Creek: Take I-59 into Mississippi to exit 59 (Hwy 98). Go east on Hwy 98 for approximately 15 miles (12 miles past the Hwy 49 overpass) and look for the Denham Creek MX sign on the right hand side of the road. Take a right at the sign and the track is approximately one mile down on the left hand side (can?t miss it).
