LACC Round 10 in Leesville - Including a Vintage Class! Nov. 8th
**Round 10 of the 2009 LA Cross-Country Series will take place at Leesville Motorsports Park (same venue as round 6 back in Sept.) in Leesville, LA. Date still Nov. 8th.
$400 Purse! $200 XC1 winner, $100 XC2 Lites winner, $100 to randomly selected class.
**Will feature a vintage class. More Info Here, detailed flyer coming soon.
A new venue in Washington, LA was being looked at hard but due to parking constraints it just wouldn't work. Other new and previous venues were considered but because of limited time to prepare, distance from staff members' residence, etc. the decision was made to return to Leesville (still marked). This will also help with balancing the locations across the state (4 North, 4 South, 2 West). The race will be rain or shine, course layout improvements will be made, hope to see you there! Videos of Round 6 if you missed itHere andHere.

Event flyer here. (can also be found on our home page and on the schedule page).
Practice on the MX track portion available Saturday from 10am to 6pm for $20. Make sure to take advantage, this track isn't open often!
The dirt was just right last time; let's hope for the same! Below: Performance Cycles' Brayton Broussard at Leesville in September:

We'll see you next year, I'll be calling you soon to see which date you want for 2010 at CCR. Preliminary dates are on our home page...scroll down a bit. Next season should be fun! As you'll see we're skipping the hottest part of the summer.
Just talked to the Leesville track owner, he said the dirt is in great shape for this weekend! He's smoothing some things out & changing up here and there.
Thanks,

Can you please tell him to add as many jumps, particularly doubles, throughout the course as possible. Thanks.

Yeh someone (maybe Reine) was telling me after the rnd 6 race you passed him on one of the doubles out on the trail section...that was a fun section (and i'm sure even more fun getting to jump past Reine!). Hopefully I'll get to do some helmet cam'ing this weekend behind ya'll!
